Life is a Wonder
Ever wondered why life starts with a cry,
the cry which wakes you up in the night,
feeding the little baby for tomorrow's light
Ever wondered why babies smile after feeding,
the feed which brings tears to a mother,
happened to me after you came into my life.
Ever wondered the different cry made by babies,
a cry to let parents know to burp them,
a cry letting you know he needs to be cleaned,
happens to everyone after they come into life.
Ever wondered why the innocence stays with a baby,
the innocent smile, the innocent touch, the innocent mind,
the journey from innocence to adolescence,
ever wondered how life changed,
life, surely is a wonder.
